I had one really liked it performed good, faily loud. Wasn't loud enough for me so I took the muffler off and am now just running 2 into 1 header, extremly loud.

They are actually 2 into 1 into 2 and I would like to know what type of sound this produces??? Fit and finish etc??

I had one on my 2003 Silverado. I loved it. Bike ran very well and sounded good. Convinced me that 2 into 1 is the only way to go. I just got new Stratoliner with the 2 into 1. I put a Roadhouse slip-on onto end. Very happy with sound and performance there as well.

The slip on for the stratoliner looks great.. similar to the megacone???

I had the Speedstar 2 into 1 into 2 as Yamaha calls it on my 03 Roadstar. Sound was deep throaty rumble sound. When I got on it you knew I was there. But, it was quiet enough to keep me from getting into trouble with the law. I had cobra slip ons before I got the exhaust and no one wanted to ride with me cause they made a heck of a racket. Perforamnce wise as well the bike was much better through out the power band with the Speedstar 2 into 1 into 2. I would strongly recommend it.

WELL I DID IT Just came off a ride with my new Speedstar 2 into 1 into 2
exhaust Awesome power and sound. I do like the looks . Nice quality but a bitch to mount Lining up header, shields( which mount to exhaust manifold studs) and muffler body ...to thread in muffler mounting bolts etc a good test of my english language But finally after buckets of sweat the exhaust mounted up nicely
I would say the rumble is close to stage 3 drilling but with more get up and go
A little louder than stage three drilling but not as loud as the Cobras which sound nice too ..Little deeper
tone and less bark than the Cobras ...more of a growl. Anyway ..the wife likes it..I Like it ...but my neighbour BOB likes the looks of the dual Cobra mufflers
The dual outlets/baffles on the rear of the Megacone muffler look neat... and
the inner construction of the megacone is cool..the headers are two into one and then the exhaust is deflected inside the muffler into two baffles in the rear of the muffler body...

Is the soundclip on your website of your bike with the megacone muffler on it?

The sound clip is of the Cobra Classic slashcuts. Taken from their Website... My Cobras sounded exactly like the sound clip.... The Megacone is close but deeper
