Yup....I will guarantee you will have to run premium gas or better for the H/C pistons. I had the 108" big bore kit in my 02 roadie when I had it and I needed to burn premium. Luckily there was a gas station here that had 93 octane. If you have any sort of knock or pinging when using premium gas, you may have to switch to the dyna3000 ignition module. With that, you can adjust your timing advance/retard as well as your rev limit. Most people who run H/C pistons go to the dyna3000. Good luck.
