Hi...I have a 2002 Road Star it's been a great ride but lately it's starting to have a wierd whinning noise mostly when you slow down but sometimes just going down the road...Has anyone else have this problem?

mine made that sound when you let off the gas, it is the plastic pieces that are in the drive pulley cover more than likely, take it off, clean & grease, simple fix, musky told me about them  |

Hey, Raddad...  Mine has a whining sound when I ease off the throttle too... But, to me it sounds more like... Waaa! Whyyy are we going slowww... I don't waaanna go so slowwww... I think my Star is trying to tell me something...  BTW: A Road* doesn't develop "Problems"... they acquire "Features"...  |

If it is more like a whishing sound coming from the front end it id the pads on the rotors no big deal. |

I figured out what it is....its the sound a Harley makes when a Raodstar passes them... 
mine did it as well, and it was the belt on mine yours might be different..
