CLUNK when going in 4 Years ago
I have a 2000 w/18000 when I shift from neutral or down shift it clunks kind of hard. Could this be a worn clutch problem, or possibly a streched cable? I ran the cable adjuster to see if haveing more linkage movement would help but had little effect. Thanks

Mine is starting to do the same, I noticed tonight that I can fit about 3 nickels in between the clutch handle and the bracket. I am going out to adjust it this evening.

Even with the adjuster ran tight it still makes the same noise.

Does this have anything to do with the transmission recall?
