I was looking at the cruiser customizing site & I noticed that they sell 1.5 ohm dyna coils for Harley's so I e-mailed Dyna tech support & asked if they recommend the 2.2 ohm DC4-1 (which is what most retails sell for the Road Star) or the 1.5 ohm DC2-1 ? Dyna told me that they recommend the 1,5 ohm DC2-1. Just thought I would pass this on. I just installed my BAK & Barons manifold & it makes a big difference, but we scraped the Barons jet kit that came with the Bak because after 6 attempts we could not get it right. Put in a Dyna Jet kit & it runs great |

I was just looking through a catalog for coils and I see that the DC2-1 is a 6 volt coil?
Is this what Dyna said would work?
Also I was wondering...
I know our coils are dual tower, but are they dual fire or single fire? |

Single fire ... two coils.
Harley's have single coil dual fire ignition.

I owe you guys an apology, I just reread my e-mail from dynatec & it said they recommend the DC1-2 coils. I had it reversed, I have not bought any coils yet so please e-mail them yourself & confirm this info before you spend any money. I will be more careful in the future.

I broke the "do stuff one at a time to see the difference" code.
2 months ago I did the below 3 at the same time:
- New NGK Iridium spark plugs
- Nemesis coils and wires
- New battery to starter cable
Battery cable has nothing to do with it, but at least the new plugs, coils, wires felt like the pistons were firing stronger and surely. |

I wish I had a bucket for mine....
I have to use a dumpster! 
How I look at it though , is..
I have learned so much from my mistakes,
that I think I'll make some more!!!
