#88384 2000roadie (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 78 Air Box 4 Years ago   Can anybody tell me the best way to modify my 2000 stock air box.I really don't want to spend 200.00 on a new BAK or something similar.I have a set of Samson street sweepers on the bike as well.What about rejetting? Moderator Posts: 6997 Re:Air Box 4 Years ago   JB , you can drill a few 1" holes in the housing of stocker for more air and leave the paper filter in and be fine. If you drilled then installed a K&N filter you are putting yourself in a situation where you will more than likely need to rejet. Pretty easy to jet for. The HC has moving parts. The HC can be harder to jet for. I hear the HC also sticks out farther than the stock airbox so that might be an issue. Might not.
