STOCK TIRE LIFE 5 Years, 8 Months ago  
I have about 7k on my R* now and the rear tire looks like it might need replacing in the next 3-4k. What kind of miles have you folks been getting off the stock tires?
Most of my riding is two up which tends to wear them a bit quicker. Anyone swear by any particular brand?

I have a bit over 10,000km on mine, that icludes a lot of two-up riding and a couple of tyre smoking burnouts The rear tire is due for changing very soon, it's the long fwy runs (and those naughty burnouts) that wear the center before the edges.
My brother in-law got 12,000 or 14,000 on his roadstar rear tire, but it did not have anything in the way of tread left

I have wondered the same thing. I have 10200 on my tire and it's as bald as my head already. I'd say about half the miles were two up. I'm shopping for a tire right now. I'll be watching this post for update. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!
