Road Burner Double Eagles with SLT 7 Months, 1 Week ago
I want to thank you guys for the compliments on the look of these pipes

I was a little apprehensive..cause they are new and nobody could give me feed back....

Ok..looks are subjective..but I think they are one beautifull looking set of pipes....

The pipes are Hard Chromes Dual wall..which just means the 2 1/2 shields are welded on to the 1 3/4 pipes

nice solid ..top notch here no pinging on shut down

The muffler cans are awesome..3 x heavier than the Cobras I had ..this is probably due to the..Cadillac like end caps ...and the heavier SLT cans... awesome chrome ...mounting is 10+

Sound ...best I have heard from a R* exhaust.. not too loud and not too quiet

yet....a subdued rumble on idle but a nice crack on throttle with that entertaining fluff on decel...

I know these guys are listing for 799.00 but I got them for 703.00 from Motorcycle parts on line....

the doolies are in that same price range....

Ok ...well worth the money.....and bottom line ..it may be the best purchase I have ever made

Any body that puts this exhaust on their R* will be as happy I am ...Guaranteed

Thanks for the rundown PR, been waiting to hear from you.. They do look good, got a question? do you think you will drag them much, I know that question is a bit subjective, my HK's drag more often than I would like...

I've got a set of the Hard Krome 2 and 1/2" pipes,
but both pipes end just a tad before the rear axle nut...
The bike is about 2" lower than stock, and I really have to watch those right corners.
I drag them all the time.
And I weigh in at a whopping 170 lbs.

If you drag the stockers then yer gonna drag these ..they are about the same level as the stockers about 1" lower and same as the Cobra Classics...but I am not lowered 2"...

never had problems with the Cobras...you can see the pic of the Cobras on my web....then I dont lean too far...

I was thinking of lowering my bike too ROTOPILOT, but at around 280 (give or take), I'd be dragging my lower pipe for sure!

Ya, I hate to do it, but I think I'm going to have to raise it back up to stock... or close to it.
Especially if I find a "Lady Friend" to ride with me!

That would put me at around 280 (give or take)
