Dead bike in the road??? 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Well guys, today was the first and hopefuly last BAD day with my Roady. My wife and I, yes on our annaversery, stoped at a store and the bike wouldnt start back up. 70 miles from home to boot. had to get my son to come and get us in his 12.4 MPG truck.
The bike is a 2000 with 26,000 on it. The switch and all guages work, lights and all. The starter button does nothing. I jumped the selenoid and then I found out that there was no fire also. All the fuses are good but I replaced them anyway just to make sure. I know its just something small and didnt see it. But it sure messed up our day and the wifey is pissed. Get that bike out of here..cant do that. But I sure dont want to take it to the dealer at $85 an hour. HELP....

Fritz

musky....have a friend with a goldwing, he went out and it wouldn't start, checked "everything", loaded on trailer, took to shop and was about to pull the starter when someone turned on the kill switch and lo and behold it started ......amazing....now we REALLY give him a hard time
