Fuel line routing 3 Years, 11 Months ago
Ok.. Update on my alleged fuel pump problem. After I picked up my bike from the dealer, I started trouble shooting myself. What I found was the rubber fuel line going to the carburetor was crimped at the clamp connection which was hidded by some insulation wrap. The dealer missed it. I am assuming that once the bike got hot and the tubing got warmer and it collapsed. I have a picture that shows it. My question is, I replaced my fuel lines with stainless steel braided lines and I am worried that my routing might cause a gravity feed problem to my relocated fuel pump. It seems to be running fine, but wanted some feedback. Here is a picture of the routing. The lines rout up the backbone and down to the fuel pump. Is there to much of an upward routing?
