Does anyone know if the warrior front footpeg brackets can be converted to work on the roadstar 1700?

www.phatperformanceparts.com has some forward mounted controls for around $450 - they look nice, work well and after three years haven't discolored, chipped or let me down.

i have actually been looking at doing something similar...I was going to take off the floorboards and just replace them with pegs ... from what i could tell the floorboards use a much wider area to mount than a footpeg so i was going to make up spacers around the sides of the peg on the bolt...when i get a chance to do it i will let you know how it works out.... but my guess would be that the warrior bracket should bolt right up and if it doesnt you may just have to extend the holes a bit until it does fit
