#92111 slyguy (User) Platinum Boarder Posts: 1174 Fuel Sender Unit 5 Months, 3 Weeks ago   My fuel gauge stopped working about 2 months ago and the light either stays solid or blinks (depending on its mood). I ordered a new fuel sender unit. I just got it. Does anyone know how to install it? I have a tendency of breaking crap all of the time. My dealer said they wanted $120 for labor. I know I have to drain the tank and remove the tank. Can it really be as simple as you say? I'll change the plugs while I got the tank off. Place it on it's right side then remove the screws. Plug the line (vent tube) Turn it over. Remove two screw holding sender. Install new sender the way old one came out. Put the tank back on.
