fuel pump to the left 7 Months ago
relocate fuel pump under left cover above the drive belt. remove the tray, weld small eye bolt to hose clamp and atatch to left stud that used to hold tray. slide pump in and tighten, (pump sits horizontal below left stud bolt, with elbows toward motor) Filter sits in front of ECM. Run one fuel line on each side of backbone (Pump to carb line on right side goes over intake, then wraps around to carb so you don't see the line and it stays away from jugs).
Relocate choke over top of #2 then to left rear tank mount. Cut off stock choke mount (just cut at the 90, hammer the strength dimple flat and drill hole where you would have a sharp point, mount to rear tank mount and reinstall choke.
All elctrical stuff pushes back and zip ties out of the way. Groves in belt keep air on pump and no sharp bends in fuel line, stock spring protect lines near seat.
Thats my idea any way has it been done yet??? Any imput???
No pump, vacum pump, right side pump mount, that stuff works great, just trying to take known problems and solve them, and the more you wrench the more you learn. Plus i think it would keep a very clean look with no farmer brackets visable.

I have not seen a left side mount before. Put up a pic when you have a chance.

The weep hole should be facing down or you will have corrosion problems.

Gave it a shot and it works, only catch was the fuse box kind of has to stuffed in so cover fits.
Doc I read the post on how to put in pics but all I see is blah blah blah, I don't get it, but my email is tbelling2@new.rr.com i can send pics to who ever has use or intrest in a left mount.
Ported intake while i was at it and found it to worth the time.
