What happened to the '08?
Sounds like it lost the carb, some fuel capacity, and a little bit of weight.
But the extra cost of buying one will make up for that, as it did NOT get any cheaper!
If ya have a low mileage Roadie, and ya just have to have FI on a Roadie, then a $2000 aftermarket FI system is a heck of a lot cheaper than trading in your older Roadie and forking out $6000 to $7000 more for a new one with FI.

Dealers already been calling to see if I'm interested in trading
in my "in high demand pre-owned Yamaha" Roadie for a "good price and financing rate" on a brand-new 2008.
