Sounds like it lost the carb, some fuel capacity, and a little bit of weight. But the extra cost of buying one will make up for that, as it did NOT get any cheaper! If ya have a low mileage Roadie, and ya just have to have FI on a Roadie, then a $2000 aftermarket FI system is a heck of a lot cheaper than trading in your older Roadie and forking out $6000 to $7000 more for a new one with FI. Dealers already been calling to see if I'm interested in trading in my "in high demand pre-owned Yamaha" Roadie for a "good price and financing rate" on a brand-new 2008. What is the issue with the speedo being on the tank? I don't have a problem with it. My eyes aren't constantly locked straight ahead. I look at the scenery to the left and right, I'll look up to watch a hawk or an eagle. I don't spend much time looking at my speedo. A glance once in a while is about it. So what am I missing here I mean what am I missing on the speedo location.
