I've come across a 32 tooth warrior front pulley for next to nothing and I want to know if I can use it in place of my 33 tooth stocker. If the slot is not long enough now or if it becomes not long enough because of belt stretch then you need a shorter belt. The bolt is right at the end of the slot. THE WARRIORS AND THE NEWER STARS HAVE A NARROWER BELT. I TRIED ONE ON MY 02. BORONS 31 TOOTH FOR WARRIOR CAN WORK BECAUSE IT HAS ONLY ONE BELT GUIDE ON IT. I typically cruise at 70 on the Texas highways, but I would like to get a bit more "pull" in the lower gears. It's less 'buzzy' on the highway than the 31. You can also pick up a used 1700 32 tooth cheaper than a 31. Moderator Posts: 3508 Re:Another front pulley question... 3 Years, 10 Months ago   I have the 1700 which came with the 32t stock I switched to the 31 and it was not a WOW this is WAY faster but, it made it just right the way the roadie should be my grin is just a little bigger when I take off from the stop sign and I do not notice any real difference on the freeway until 85+mph but, I don't need to go that fast (I want to....but, I don't need to)   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access.
