Okay, curious? Never seen 'with peak' and 'without peak' before.

Has to do with the shape of your head?

And, if so, how do you know you have a peak or not???

I think peak is referring to that little plastic visor that snaps on to the helmet

The "peak" is the snap on visor over the brow.

Here's a point to ponder ...
Will your life insurance company pay your benefits if you're killed while riding & wearing a Non DOT helmet?

It appears that when they say 'with peak' it means it has a visor.
The ones that say 'no peak' do not have a visor. Or I could be mistaken

After two years everything is covered.

And yes, they would. Same as if you weren't wearing a seat belt in a car. Hell, most states don't even have helmet laws so it's not even the same thing.

Life insurance is something I believe in. It's cheap and my wife will be taken care of and not have to sell the house/property if I die. If you have kids and your family depends on you as a main provider, then it's pretty stupid to not have life insurance of some sort.

A little late, but... I bought Z1R half helmets for the wife and I... they were relatively inexpensive, but are DOT and have a snap on (or off) visor, air vents in the front, as well as a removable neck curtain, which is nice in cooler weather. I think I paid around $60-70 a few years back... can't remember where I ordered mine from, though.
