Aside from the locktite issue I would imagine that a lot of shops over tighten bolts to some extent due to fear of returns which cost them money or even worse, something falling off which could cost them their shop.

I thought I was never going to get my oil plug off.

I went to do my first oil change tonight and they wrenched on the oil filter . Gonna take some work getting it off! I can only image how tight others things are. Although the oil bolts were fine.

Also while I had it up on jack I did the handle bar test and it bounces off the stop. Guess I will be needing to tighten it up when I figure out exactly how LOL!!
