I think Dennis Hopper had this in style way before Jovi. Guess it depends what generation you're from. (I'm 35 but I like "old" movies.)

Looks great! Wouldn't mind something like that on my scoot ... just to compliment the fringe of my levers.

I like the leather and studs look on a bike (I know I'm gonna get static for the way THAT came out ). Personally, I think it dresses it up and keeps the chrome from overpowering the overall look. Good balance. Thanks for the studs link StarCruiser.

I really like it! What kind of "forward bracket" do you have on your floorboards to get them at the angle you have? I've been looking into forward controls, but would love to keep my floorboards. I was afraid of running into a problem with the crashbar....
any advise?
Thanks!

I got billjr's brackets, they move the controls foward by 3"... and turn the boards up, up to fifteen degrees (where I have them...)
Nope, there's no interference with the engine bar... (Except when I go to cleant it...)
PM billjr and see if he still has 'em... They're great...

Starcruiser, love your fringe. I like fringe as you can see on my bike. How did you secure the fringe to your boards?

Papa Bear, I pulled the rupper floorboard pads... and wiped down everything with alcohol, then "painted" conntact cement on all points of the floorboards and the leather (the kind they use for formica countertops...)
Overlap the leading edges last (IE: work from back to front on the overlapping the leather) and every surface gets it's own coat of cement... (just let it get "tacky before sticking together...)
Put the rubber pads back on afterwards.
Oh, and most important... Mask everything you don't want yellow rubber to be on... (Although, it does come off with mineral spirits...)
I think I paid a premium for the leather at $8 a square foot... (But, where I got it threw in an extra two squares for free...) You may be able to get it for less elsewere...

BTW: Thank for all the compliments on the work... I now realize that (even in my own house...) not everyone is "into" fringe... but the misses is begining to like it more each day...
