Ha, bet there was a collective groan from when you saw the subject (I was inspired by "Anyone Secretly want a Harley".

The only other topic that could get everyone going would be another "What kind of Oil" thread or "What Tire".

Nope just an observation from here in "Sunny" New Hampshire. I decided to stretch the Star's legs up to Concord and noticed that not one single miserable bugger returned the wave today.

Perhaps it was the fact that it's been raining here for 5 solid days and they were all blinded by the strange orange orb in the sky

Maybe my wife had painted something rude on the front of the bike.

Everyone was on ignore today, sports bikers, commuter bikers, Harley Boys, Wing Riders, Metric Cruisers couldn't even get a wave back from some kid on a push cycle.

It didn't matter I still returned home with a stupid grin on my face, after a 180 miles riding in the rain last Sunday it was just good to go for a ride in the sun.

All is well with the world again.

Maybe they didn't like the colour of your bike.

That reminds me of a time about 30 years ago when a buddy and me rode out to Unidillo NY. Picture 2 somewhat scary looking bikers, 1 on an Indian chopper and 1 on a Harley chopper waving at every car, bike, motorcycle, and pedestrian we passed with big s**t eaten grins on our faces. Not many waved back that day either

By the way what is the big orange thing up there in the sky? I seen that today myself for the first time in about a week.
We got over 4 inches of rain here in just the last 2 days.

I think Doc got it right, they must have been jealous of the Bike color.

We came close to 4" of rain I think we up above 3" for the week.

It was so wet I was starting to feel homesick for the old country.... NOT
