You can find a write up in the Tech Articles section of the site.

Something to think about, the tech articles are usually written when someone "does" something like mount a fairing for the first time. If you figure out how to mount the Road Glide fairing, you may want to document all the steps you take so you can help someone out in the future. Good luck and let know how it comes out.

JWs is a wideopen customs like mine, they are not difficult to install and they mount to the factory windsheild brackets. You can also remove it in about 5 minutes if you dont want it on.

Yes, (Wide open customs) four bolts and a quick disconnect plug and its on or off. Very easy.

Re:custom fairing applications 4 Months ago
I bought a Harley fairing off of E-bay for $90 delivered. I didn't use an inner fairing because I didn't care to have a stereo on my bike. I used the brackets from my Silverado windshield which fit perfectly. I fiberglassed 4 nuts inside the fairing to line up with the holes on the brackets. (I used 4 of the 6 holes) Because the lower holes of the brackets are slotted where they attach to the fork you can swing the lower part of the fairing forward or aft depending on the look you want. My bike is lowered in the back so I swung the fairing forward for a more custom look.
