Hey Musky! 4 Months ago
you have any new plans for your bike or do you have everything done to it that you plan too? You give good advice (for the most part, have to get away from the white bike fetish) to others. I wondered if you had any new plans for yours?

Well. I plan on painting a bunch of the chrome white.
Seriously I think chrome is over done and over rated. Chrome should just be an accent. I like paint better. (Hate mail inbound. I can feel it )

I'm going to get some Nemesis coils and wires cuz I think the stockers are failing me and they ain't the best to begin with. And I want to find a complete 1600 carb because they are supposed to be easier to tune. Thought I'd put it on my bike and find out. See if there is any appreciable difference.

I'm arguing with myself over a fairing. So far I'm winning

And when I can afford it some nice subtle air brushing on the tank, fenders, and the chrome parts I painted.

Oh yeah. I also want to get either Ghost or EZ brackets so I can take the bags off. And get better bags too. And maybe some risers just to see how it feels.

And when I finally get everything done I'll change my mind start all over again.

Chrome risers would be fine. White upper fork tins and upper and lower tree.

Hey Musky!
I recommend if you want to make those parts white to have them powder coated instead of painted! Really puts a hard shell on them!!! I have a friend with a "Black" ROad* and he has blacked out allot with powder coating! Looks great, and I agree, chrome can get to be to much after awhile! How far can you take it???

I never checked real far into powdercoat colors. I don't think they have pearl though. I should probably ask DK about that.
