#105783 BlueSpringsR*Brian (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 89 RPM limit question 3 Years, 6 Months ago   Being new here I might be missing an answer to my own question but here it goes; Why such a low rev limit? I understand you can change the limiter, how high will it be then? My last bike was an Electra Glide which I put a screamin eagle box on it and I beleive it would wind up to a hair over 6k. Under 5k rev limit ought to make this engine run forever! Thanks for any info! Your's has a 4750 rev limit. You can get a dyna 3000 ign box and wind it out to 5500 but I wouldn't go over 5000 if it was me. I've got an '01 98 incher, the revs are limited to what? 4,200 or 4,250? I almost never hit that limiter. With the big air, freer-flowing aftermarket exhaust, and jetted carb, there's only more of it!
