It happens every weekend here in Miami. One or two crotch rocketeers flying in traffic at speeds so outrageous then getting themselves killed.
Bad enough regular bikers have to deal with cage drivers as it is. But having to be prepared for the rocketeer running by me so fast I get a buffetting and have to just hope they don't change their line as they come up on me. And I don't drive all that slow!
I know that they have scared the crap out of me when they went by. I did not feel to bad for them when I went by the crash scene a couple of minutes later, it was going to happen sooner or later. Unfortunately the female passenger died too.
No helmets, high speeds, in regular traffic on the expressway is putting more than just the riders life in danger. He gets what he deserves. Most of the time he/she does'nt give a damn about what has happend in his wake either. If he even knows at all...
Sorry, just frustrating to see and know that they can't really be stopped without a useless chase with it's own dangers and usually useless results.
