Reflector removal 3 Months, 4 Weeks ago
When you take the reflector off of the bike, did you just take that whole bracket off? And if so have you had any problems with the brake line? Id like to take them off to clean up the forks a little bit.

I might not of done it the easiest way, but yeah I removed the whole bracket. As far as the brake line, I used a pair of dikes to cut the brake line out off the bracket. The brake line itself dosen't move any more than it used to.

I've got reflectors on the forks, and I've got 'em on the bags, too. Along with the Yamaha badges, those reflectors are fargin' HISTORY!

Hrmmm... What ELSE can I take offa' this bike?

I'll do that this weekend since TS Fay will keep me indoors here in Florida.

Looks like a good weekend for the garage, the bike, and some beer

Actually, what I was thinking of doing, after going outside and looking at the bike, is to remove the brackets, use a Dremel w/ cutoff wheel to get rid of the reflector "branch," touch up the cut areas with some black touch-up paint that I have, and then replace the modified brackets. What do you think?

P.S. The reflectors on my bags were only hand-tight, so I just took them off. It took me all of about two minutes. The only problem, is that I've got holes in my bags where the screws of the reflectors went through.

I think I'll remove them all together, looks like there will be no problem with them "hanging", on the rearend of a truck there is alot more slack than on the bike and I've never had a problem.
