It works great, it will last for about 4 hours or so on a full charge but it came with a Ram mount so I have it connected to 12v. It also came with a bluetooth headset and you can receive calls, if you want, while riding. I installed a power connector that I purchased off of E-bay. I wired it into the headlight bucket and tuck the end into the windshield bag when not in use. I have a Garmin 76CX or something. I got it for hunting, purchased a bean bag mount and used it in the cars, boat and truck. I take it and lash it with bungie cord to the risers and around the handle bar and away I go. I can easily remove it if I want it off the bike when I'm parked someplace busy. One of the best things is that runs on 2 AA batteries vs. rechargable and they last 8 hrs +- with the background light off and much longer with the lithium type batteries for electronics. It has a big adjustable suction cup on it and it goes right on the windshield... (I put a little electrical tape in the stock riser to avoid the possibility of chaffing) I did put an outlet on the bike too, but then again, on long trips... I turn it off between points... And, the software is accessible so I uploaded my own graphics for the utility screens... Here's my timer screen... and my "select" button   Logged     Over 50...?
