I posted my write-up in a different thread, but I thought I'd offer it here, since this it is pertinent:

The fork reflector are history. I pulled the brackets, used the Dremel to cut off the arms that the reflectors mounted to, and smoothed over the edges with a file. Then I got a newspaper and sprayed a bunch of Rustoleum Barbecue Black paint on the paper, and used a paint brush to go over the exposed metal where the cuts were made. I bolted it all back together and stepped back for a look. Beautiful...

The big Yamaha Silverado badge on the windshield cowling: Meh.. That thing is on there tighter than frog's ass, so I left it alone. I'm still debating whether or not to take the badges off of the tank...

When I went to the stealership to drool over the new Road Stars yesterday, I noticed that none of them had the side badges or the badge on the speedometer chrome. Imagine that!

So far, I've removed four badges. I still have them molded in the floorboards, stitched into the seat, the big silver one on the windshield cowling, the one stamped into the side of the gear box, and the tank badges. Holy overkill, Batman!! How many freakin' markings does one bike need?
