Front end wobble 3 Months, 1 Week ago
Last year I did not have a front end wobble. I had the tires changed in April as well as oil put in the forks. I noticed in Sturgis if I take both hands off the bars that my front end wobbles.
If I keep both hands on it or just lightly hold the bar it does not. It most likely was there since April but I did not notice it because I usually don't remove my hands.
I wonder if the tire could be out of round or if the tire was not properly balanced? I don't think oiling the forks would have an adverse effect.
The reason I know it was not there at the end of last season, on the last ride of the season my hands were like ice and rode most of the way home with my hands between my legs.
If I bring the bike back now since the wheels were put on in April they will not take responsability. I think that I will wait until I need new tires. There is no adverse effect to the tires wearing and the bike handles like a champ baring any hand removal from the bar
