I pretty much wave to all bikes. I don't care what anyone is riding, and most of the time, we're passing each other so fast, there's no time to tell, other than to see that it's a cruiser or a sportsbike. I refuse to wave to motor-scooters, though. Ain't gonna' happen.

Hey Frank..I have seen some pretty cute stuff riding scooters..better wave ..just in case ya meet them somewhere down the road...

Or at Sonic.

Shhhhhh..... If she finds out why I'm going to Sonic, I'm soooo going to be busted!!

It's funny how many of the scooter riders haven't gotten the wave angle. I found that if I wave with my hand in a "good bye" type of a gesture, more have responded that way. Just takes a bit of training from us friendly Big Bore Big V-Twin Cruisin' Devils, is all.

I like the ones where the dude leans way over and wave, with their hand almost brushing the road. It looks so dang cool...

I stick my victory peace sign straight out and it's almost touching the ground. I guess I might want to raise the bike back up a little... :0)

I still wave, even at those on mopeds and HDs. With all the folks on scoots now days it seems to be getting to the point where I'm less willing. Kind of like going to a rally and waving at every biker you see.

That's a good point. We might start feeling like we're in a constant parade waving to everybody. I'll prob'ly come to a point where I'll wave if the other bikers/scooters/moped'rs wave first, but I'm not there yet.

If you wear one of these, I'm betting your "wave requirement" gets cut in half...

I love waving at the scooters...most times I get this shocked look, like maybe they don't know what it means (which seems more than likely). The reaction from the riders is worth my "aerobics". I just hope one doesn't get too surprised and look away from the road too long--even falling from a scooter at 20 MPH, pavement is still a very capable human cheese grater...

Yeah. Sometimes that goofy broken wrist wave I get from those scooters is so funny that I can't let go for fear of crashing.

I have a friend that grew up in a rather cra*tastic neighborhood and he carries a roll of pennies with him everywhere he goes just "in case" he needs them so he says haha....
he was cruisin down the road and a car tried to merge into him and almost killed him...then the driver of the car gave him the finger like had actually done something wrong!! wellll then my friend pulled out his roll of pennies and threw it at the car at speed, he was trying to hit the tail light but ended up just denting the rear quarter and just took off down the highway...not sure if thats defensive, or offensive driving haha or maybe both

i realize this isnt about waves, but flipping off cagers just reminded me of it!
