no, I would have remembered something along that line, I do remember the bike laying next to me running and a fellow coming over and asking if there was anything he could do to help me. Naturally I ask him if he could turn my bike off, the ol Chicken was still running, and set it up for me as my leg appeared to be broken

The worst pain in the world was when they set that thing, I was doing good up to that point, I figured it was time to man up and let them do their thing. The nurse shot me up with morphine and something called dellated (misspelling) and then they took my leg and set it.

Its the only time in my life I have actually begged. I can't even begin to describe how bad that hurt.

It was a good 3 to 4 weeks before I snuck out and took the chicken for a ride..

That wasn't my smartest move either...lol

That almost looks like my youngest daughter's X-ray. She snapped both bones about 3-4" above the ankle in a fall down a ravine about a month ago and she's still in the hospital. Dang Hotelfox, that freakin' hurts just lookin' at it. Glad your ok now.

You know, they never cast my foot, after they set it they put some weird boot on it and sent me home for a week for the swelling to go down. I sat and watched a lot of TV and read my Motorcycle mags. Every time I got up to pee the blood would rush down to my foot and remind me I was alive...

It was a while before I took the Chicken out. I wanted to do it before I couldn't do it.

Ouch ... not a simple fracture.

At least now you don't need the weatherman to know when it's going to rain.
