If you're interested in trying risers to see if it helps your riding comfort, here's a cheap way to do it.

Risers

Right now they're $15+$10 shipping (they're heavy, I can believe it) less than a day on the auction.

If I didn't know who made those I would never put them on my bike, if they were left over from Barron's or something then sure, but to buy risers off eBay with no idea who made them, that's one critical piece of equipment your looking at.

No thanks, no Russian Roulette for me!

Let's just leave it at this: As with any used motorcycle part there is a possibility that the item could be flawed or in some way damaged to the point that to use it would be dangerous. I don't have any information as to the safety or usability of this item, nor do I have any financial interest in it's sale.

My intent was to be a good neighbor and alert those who might be in the market for these items that there was a source for them at a substantial cost savings over new ones that usually run $150+.

So, as with every transaction, caveat emptor.

I don't take much of anything personal on forums, it's just bits and bytes running back and forth. I simply wanted to clarify a bit on the post so as to be clear about things.
