Re:The kids at play 2 Months ago
Tempest - A friend of mine had a coupon to rent a HD, and rented a StreetGlide, and off we went. I was tempted to ask him to swap with me, so that I can see what it actually feels like, but we were sitting at a stop light and I happen to look down at the front wheel on that thing. It had to be vibrating back and forth about 2 inches. Something might have been wrong, but I think it's just the way they shake. I changed my mind on the swap when I saw that.

At a stop you are correct, they vibrate. the rubber mounted engine is very noticable when stopped. but I will say this, at highway speeds, it is very smooth. up and downs with both.

Wow! The title of the album personified...Twin Sons of Different Mothers.

Both of 'em look good and I'd be proud to have either or both in my stable.

Ride Happy!

Java, about how tall are you? I've always been a fan of the RoadGlide, but I just haven't found a HD that I'm comfortable on. I'm always told you can swap the seat out to get more leg room, but the * fit so well, I never sat on another since buying it.
