Flag Holder Impromptu Marine style 2 Months ago
Here it on the bike.

I had opportunity to be in a parade today, So I had like 20 min to come up with a way to secure a staff to the bile. Hummm
You might need...
Two part staff in garage, (Every Marine has a few of these).
Tennis Ball,
K Bar (To cut anything that needs it.
Ball ties, (Y know the elastic with a ball on it.)
Heavy Duty Rottweiler dog collar.
Black Zip ties)
T Bag if ya have one or another Dog Collar.
Ok Secure Bottom of staff to bike with collars,

Ad Tennis ball and cover with a black sock.

This is what it looks like.

I tested this baby up to 55, It was good to go but that flag makes a hell of a lot of snap and pop! So I went back and rolled the flag and stuck it here and secured it with two more Ball ties, and this was good to over 80 MPH.

Add Ball tie and zip tie at Bottom.

And we won a Cash prize today! Big plus since I spent nothing on my flag holder. I will do it like this again, But I may have the guy at the shoe shop sew me up a holder to go over my sissy bar using some of my ideas here. Maybe you can do the same? Just have him sew up a pad with a hard back to keep it on center and a Slot in one or both sides.

And that's why the Marines are always first. Excellent!

If you get more time....

Just in case you need it again, a solid holder never hurts.
Good job on such short notice!!

Well done Marine. Mine looked like the zip tie fairy was drunk yesterday. 8 zip ties and it held like a dream through 200 miles and a small town parade. The only thing I missed was the tennis ball, but the shirt was there.

Congrats on the win.
