I lost interest quickly when I saw the $30K price tag for the basic bike. The same company that bought Indian also bought Chris Craft boats and opened up a factory near the Indian one. It seams to be failing now as they have stopped production and laied off all the employees...only the engineering is still at work. I see Indian meeting the same fate...and soon. He rides an Indian with an S&S motor (an '02 I think). Had a bad vibration problem. Said $8,000 later it was fixed -- crankshaft had gone out of balance.
