I had that happen to me 20 some years ago, but it only happened once. Rolled up to a red light, first one there, put my feet down and they happened to be on that wide white line that they use to mark the point you should stop before the intersection. This one seemed to be made of some kind of plastic or something, not the regular painted on. My right boot didn't get any traction and just started sliding along down the line and the bike starting to lean over with the foot still sliding. Not to bad except I'm in neutral and can't raise my foot to get into gear.
