I have done one minny burn out with a tire that was to be replaced. Given the torque of these engines I do not recommend "popping" the clutch as you would be in for a wild ride. Best to do as others have said stand off the seat to unweight the rear tire. Hold the front brake firmly, and rev up the engine, 2000 rpm is plenty to get it going then let out the clutch in a controled way and the rear tire will begin to spin. More throttle will spin it faster. Be ready for the bike to move side to side and watch your rpm. You can get smoke pretty fast so you really don't have to go wild. If you do a big burn on a tire check it carefully for blisters as it can ruin a tire in short order. Good luck and be ready for repairs

This is the best burnout I have ever seen, video is done by the Baron's accessories guys, I've met this guy driving this bike and he is really a cool guy, he was at Daytona's JP Cycles store this past Biketoberfest and talked me into letting go of some cash in my wallet for the lowering kit! ,,,,,BTW, it's a tricked out Roady! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djr2bHqNwaI

with the torque a roadie has, itīs a doddle.

doing fast standing starts, iīll quite often leave a nice black line behind the bike (sat on the seat with feet on the boards).

normal clutch off the line and a big handful does the trick, no problems.

I used to do them on a bonneyville 750. Get it just as it goins into the power arch and ease into it. Popped the clutch ONCE!! got up went found my baby, appologized, and got out my wallet. The rear blinkers did a nice job of flipping me, 125lbs at the time That was the last one I meant to do.

I rev it up , and give the clutch a gradual , steady release. Butt off the seat , good grip on the front brakes.

Something like this BB?
