Cool BB....I'll need to try that so I can ditch my eyebrows. Got the stock brackets setup for a backrest and it looks kind of awkward without a backrest installed. Like two little horns pointing backwards.

Also my nuts are inside my bags (ha ha!!) so I shouldn't hit anything other than the bags.

Thanks for the idea.....greeny

Do yourself a favor and get some rubber fender washers to put on the back of the docking hardware to protect your paint. After reassembling my bike (for trade in) , it still looked great behind the hardware because I thought it through..... BB

So I guess you can do the Ghost Brackets with the stock Bags! Are they Flimsy or do they bounce when you are riding? Especially when the bags are loaded!! I read that Easy Brackets won't work with stock bags!

I didn't read the article that said I couldn't mount my stock bags on my bike till after I did it..

I drilled the holes and attached the bags, I have had those things PACKED TIGHT and ridden to Missouri so they seem to work out ok. I could have done a better job of adjusting them as they vibrate a tad when empty, but that doesn't bother me, I have noise control in my right hand..

You do have to plug those stock mounting holes in the bottom. Other than that, I love em!
