Yup...I ride unless the roads themselves are a hazard. Ice and motorcycles aint that good of a mix. LOL

Yep all year, not too big of a fan of riding when salt spray is blowing on the bike, or ice, or snow on main roads. But I've been caught in about everything. Even Tropical storm winds that had blown trees over a bunch of roads on the way home. (That's not a good time to ride)

I didn't know it was "Cold" weather riding when I left for work, but according to what I've read here, I must be nuts!
It was 27 degrees out when I put on my jacket and my light gloves. I noticed it took a little bit longer to warm up, but other than that, it was a really nice day.
I won't ride after they start salting the roads, that isn't good for the bike, or my clothes, time to fire up the chevy.

I do, except when the roads are icy or sleet or snow are in the works.

Oh you are talking about the real bikers right? Not the ones from Georgia that have nice weather all year long
I ride till the roads won't let me, then I park it till the plow comes through. If they salt, I'm done till a spring rain, some times I can get all the way into Jan before they screw it up for me. If I had a junk bike that I didn't care about, I would ride all year, thinking of getting one of those but I can't find a Harley cheap enough...

I was in the tornado shelter this morning, looking for something... I noticed a set of lined/quilted Carhart overalls that I'd forgotten I even had. They're even BLACK, too! I brushed the dust off of 'em and put them on the workbench next to the rest of my gear.

... in my car.
Too much wet snow and salt on the streets from about December to March.
