Yep. I've heard good things about the harness. I've kinda' fancied myself as a bit of a lone wolf, but I'll tell you: Since buying this bike, sharing it with my wife and daughter has added a dimension that I can't even begin to put words to. Yeesh... I'm such a sap...

I took my seven year old for her first "highway" ride the other day, she was amazed/almost afraid at how fast they accelerate. she can't wait to do it again.

cool Frank. My 6 year rides with me. He likes it a lot. I haven't gotten the nerve to take him at a high rate of speed but up to 45MPH. My 14 year old daughter rides with me and has since she was about 10.

My little girl (now she's 33 & a doctor) still loves riding with me. She has since she was 4. It's a bond that's like none other - father & daughter - and no one knows better than those two.

Now who's getting sappy??

That is way cool Frank. I know my daughter would not ride with me untile she got to be sbout 16. I would pick her up from High School some times and she would ask me if I would bring the bike. I always said yes but confused as to why. I finally asked her and she said the boys thought it was cool having a dad with aneat bike. Yes I beamed also. Bob

Awesome... My daughter wants me to take her to school on the bike. Hee hee... Gotta' figure a way to get her backpack lashed to the bike, and we'll be golden.

She's fearless...

Frank_W wrote:This is a fun age. She's old enough to do things with, and still young enough to think that Dad is cool. [/quote] thats awesome! haha

My gf has a 10 year old sister, and out of all the siblings, she is bar far my favorite...and I think its because they still find the things that are goofy FUN, and they don't look at you like "you're a dork" haha

Too cool, Frank. My 11 & 12 year olds just started riding with me with the local STAR chapter this July. Each kid has a few hundred miles on the pilon since. The bonding is great and it sets up one-on-one time for mom and I.

Wonder how many years we have before they won't want to ride behind dear ol' dad?
