My 6 year rides with me. He likes it a lot. I haven't gotten the nerve to take him at a high rate of speed but up to 45MPH. She has since she was 4. It's a bond that's like none other - father & daughter - and no one knows better than those two. I know my daughter would not ride with me untile she got to be sbout 16. I would pick her up from High School some times and she would ask me if I would bring the bike. I always said yes but confused as to why. I finally asked her and she said the boys thought it was cool having a dad with aneat bike. Yes I beamed also. My 11 & 12 year olds just started riding with me with the local STAR chapter this July. Each kid has a few hundred miles on the pilon since. The bonding is great and it sets up one-on-one time for mom and I.
