I am. Started a chapter and used to be president. Moved, don't participate much any more because of the distance and my family (took too much time away from my kids and wife when I was president). Renew for discounts and try to go to some of the star bqs and star days. Some of my good friends I met through Star. Its a good organization, but they have rules that some people don't like. Its not for everyone.

javawave trust me I'm not on a recruiting mission but can I ask why? the local chapters that I ride with here in CA (the bay area) are a great bunch of people and every weekend one of the chapters has some kind of ride going on. Several times a year we all get together for some kind of Star BB-Q

I have a large group of good friends here I ride with. We ride every Wednesday night somewhere for dinner and every other Sunday we do a longer ride.. 200 - 250 miles. The nearest local chapter to me was over 50 miles away and non of my friends were members since they didnt ride Star motorcycles. I just never found time to pursure meeting up with anyone in the group.

Chapter 300, Columbus, Ohio. Been riding with them for 2 years now. Great bunch of people and we have a good time. Not all are Star MC riders...HD, Honda & Kawasaki are also represented in our chapter.

Earl Hunt, Chapter 262. Great people, It's not for everyone, but it's a complement to my other riding, and supports Feed the Children, so I like it. Didn't like the grandma riding style at first, and I'm a conservative rider, but like I said, I enjoy it nonetheless.
