My Biketoberfest Sight of the Day 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
While running an errand at lunch today I saw an interesting sight. It was a sportbike of some sort with 2 giant wheels on the back. Not a trike, but 2 very oversized, expensive, narrow chrome rims and tires mounted on either side of where rear wheel would be. Kind of like the tallest, narrowest tires and rims that might go on the largest SUV.

Wild looking. As I got closer, I noticed the passenger was a pretty large woman, leaning over the rider like young girls do when on the back of a sportbike.

Maybe the jumbo wheels were for her?

One thing about the bike rallies in Daytona...you never know what you're going to see. Too bad it was during my work day and I didn't have a camera handy.

Hopefully, I'll get to enjoy some of the festivities this weekend.

Maybe the double-tire was so that if she had to haul ass, she wouldn't have to make two trips.

hmmmm Saw this once for a guy that had a disability. He wasn't strong enough to hold the bike up but he still wanted to ride so they built him some trainig wheels, so to speak. It was actually kinda cool. I think he had MS.

Now on to the chick on the back....I think your right maybe they were for her.

Frank, I spit out the apple I was eating when I read your comment. Now I gotta go find a squeegie to clean off my screen.

Frank, that cracked me up (no pun intended).

DrumDon, no, not like the one with the hot blonde. The rear was a little more like the concept bike; but taller rims.

Bizarre, but in a cool way.

I'll see what I can find today.
