No good deed... 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Like they say... (whomever "they" are...) No good deed goes unpunished!

Yesterday, as I was driving up to Daytona, I saw a couple of guys stopped on the side of I-95...
One guy was on his knees looking under his bike while the other guy was checking out the tank...
So, being the sameritan that I enjoy being... I drop out of the fast lane and pull up behind them to see what's going on...
Well, as I'm looking at this really, nice custom chopper with a crack in the tank... along comes a semi with his stacks blowing black diesel and he's trying to put as much distance between where he's going and his last stop... You know... he's just working...
Anyway, he goes blowing by and as I look back at my Roadie... over she goes! (Just like Artie Johnson from the old Laugh-In episodes...) And, she winds up laying on her right side, resting on the crashbar, right hard-bag, floorboard, mirror and passing lamp visor... Argg!
The bright side of all this...?
At least there were two other guys there to help me pick her back up...

Aw, man... That sucks.

You can pick up your Roadie by yourself.

(Trust me: I'm a professional at this!) *wince!*

I've used this a couple of times I'm sorry to say and it works like a champ.
Franks right, you can pick it up by yourself, even with a semi-broken leg in some cases..

your reward will be given to you someday.....that truck had to get pretty close to push the Roadie over, and its a heavy bike. Yea, you're not alone, I've used the back to the bike and lift on the bars and the seat or fender a time or two....thank goodness its not as often anymore...and thank god for crashbars...they're worth their weight in gold.

Phew!...I thought you were going to say that the other riders were Harley fanatics and that they left you high and dry. Glad there are some decent riders out there.
