My God, that's hard to read. I ride alot with my wife on the back and in a situation like what happened to your friends you just can't prepare for it. I would just hope that if God forbid I was in that situation and my wife passed that I would pass with her. I wouldn't be able to live without her.

My prayers go out to all involved. God Bless.

Re:Riders down 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Thanks to all. I just got the call that the services will be Friday a.m. We will be riding with the Patriot Guard to lead the procession.

It was sad today, I went to see Billy in the hospital and he says he is done riding. He has ridden for 50 years and he says he has enjoyed everyday of it, but he can't stand the risk of injuring his wife again.

I don't know if I would respond the same, but I definitely respect his thought as of today.

P.S. They all had helmets on..... goes to show, Billy and Mickie are still here and talking about it. Brain buckets save lives, but to everyone, ride the way you want. When it is your time, I don't think anything will prevent it from happening.

RIDE SAFE ! !

Everytime I read or hear about something tragic like this involving motorcycles I start to question riding myself. Time passes and I continue to ride, however, I completely understand where your friend Billy is coming from.

I'm sorry to hear about your friends, it's a great lose. I'm not much on going to church, but my thoughts go out to the family, and your friends. Again sorry for the loss.
