#131854 6hrtbt3 (User) Junior Boarder Posts: 166 Hey Curt 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago   Eleven of us old retired fools rode up to a little mountain community for lunch today. Eighty miles of twisty-turnies you would have loved it. Temperatures in the low 80's until got to 6000 foot elevation then in the low 70's. Then 80 miles of twisty-turnies on the way home, as I said you would have loved. I'm not real comfortable with all the turns, scraped my floor boards a few times, scared the you know what out of me. The previous month was to Pismo Beach, my favorite because of the Fish and Chips. Today we went to Kernville, which is in the mountains North East of Bakersfield. Went Highway 155 to Kernville, then Highway 190 over the Great Western Divide. Really nice ride, sweeping turns, nice road.
