#131975 rbreit (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 3 Mirror Extensions 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago   I have a 2003 Silverado. The problem is that I am quite tall so when I look into the mirrors, I get a nice view of my elbows. Harley has long stem mirrors but mounting them would be a problem. Harley mirror stems have a long thread that reaches through the mount with a nut underneath and of course they are Americam threads. The stem is threaded on both ends and the miirror screws on one end and the other end mounts on the bike. You can get stems made any length you want, and use your original mirrors. All they need to do is take 3/8 rod, cut to length, thread, and bend. The rod can be stainless steel and you can use as is; or it can be plain steel and you can get it plated or powder coated.
