There are several accounts of the HA tearing vests off of people who are "flying" the Black Label Society patches. One wa actually killed in Germany. They consider other clubs to be compition for whatever financial endevours they are involved in. HA makes big big money. Serious money. I know that the two clubs I'm in have permission from the "Counsel of Clubs", that's actually what its called, to wear our MC patches. If your a motorcycle club and wear colors, you must have permission from the Council to wear them. We ran into this with the patriot guard, we're not a club but we do wear colors. So the Council gave us special permission as I understand it. Now I don't know if its true that they will stop you and take your patch off, but I'm going to say.... I really don't want to find out. I just watched, "Gimme' Shelter," the other night. The Stones' free concert at the Altamont Speedway... To be fair, the guy that was stabbed/kicked to death had a gun and was headed for the stage, but the HA's didn't win any friends by diving into the crowd and whaling on people with sawed-off pool cues.
