Seat Cushions 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago
At one point I had a Mustang seat on the bike but didn't like the way it pushed me forward and locked me into place. Tried it for a little more than a year, but just never got used to it. But the wife loved the passenger seat. Well, I had to decide which was more important, my comfort or her's. And since I'm on the bike a WHOLE lot more than she is, I opted for my comfort. Needless to say, the grumbling from the back seat starts after about the first hour of being on the bike.

And that's what brings me to this. Has anyone heard of or used one of these? http://estore.websitepros.com/1088410/Categories.bok?category=Motorcycle+Cushion

No more than she (the wife) is on the bike, the idea of spending $100-$120 is much more appealing than spending big bucks (and rolling the dice!) on another aftermarket seat.

Any input is appriciated....

Aaron

don't know anything about them, but at walmart they have a gel, airpillow cusion that you can get for $20, that works great on the driver seat, may help your wifes seat too

yeah, that mustang seat kills your butt on a long ride, too hard. OK, for rides under 400 miles. I need to get something too. I like the Walmart idea. The pillion, same thing... my wife loves it but she only rides with me a few times a year.

Hey Cartersta,
Is this the pad you're talking about???

Seat Pad Cushion

I've got one exactly like this. (Got it from Wal-Mart too.) I like it, but the wife says it's a bit too thin, but better than nothing. That's why I was looking at something that was thicker.

Collector,
I've heard some bad stuff about the gel pads, that's why I'm looking at these. They've got kind of a waffle pattern, and from using the thinner one I got from Wal-Mart, it definitely allows more air to circulate under you so it's not as hot as the plain gel pad.

Thanks for the input....

In The Wind,
Aaron

Check out www.buttbuffernfl.com for a good seat pad. This one can also be built into the seat, whether the seat is stock or a mustang or corbin.

I have two! One Large and one XXLarge, they have about 150 miles on them from a 250 mile trip, Myself and my GF agreed that they were worthless! Yes I have the latest ones, Gel with foam and sheepskin from Shadetree. It should be illegal to sell them, it's false advertising to sy the least! But I can sell you mine or I'll trade both for an Airhawk as Motorcycle Consumer News tested em all and that's who, won, too bad I found out 3 months too late. Buy the airhawk and I"LL buy it off you if she doesn't adore it! Seriously, I wish I had one. I did buy the ultimate Seats and they did solve my problem, tested to a 750 mile trip in 14 hours. But I'd still like an Airhawk. MC
