My bike has just started to run right now so it's on the list for next year. JW is right, they prefer a route that isn't there and back. For example we went from Phoenix to Las Cruces, NM, to Albuquerque, NM, to Flagstaff, AZ to Phoenix. About 1,080 miles. This was a route that wasn't say to Albuequerque and back, which is what you're talking about. Personally, I prefer it this way as you don't feel like you're back tracking your steps and you get to see more country.
