Something you may want to think about is having quick release straps. I'm looking to get a bag this winter for next season, and I'm thinking the quick release would be nice!

I have a soft t-bag now, is faded from the Sun, but still works. I only take it when I need it. I'm thinking of something that will look good on all the time, because the t-bag never did. That t-bag I can have removed in under 2 minutes, 3 minutes to put on. I imagine these are similar to some degree. My t-bag slips over the sissy bar and is snug with zippers on each side. There are also additional straps that I wrap around the sissy bar for added security. Never had a problem with it other than its fading.

Yea Java... I love the price of that one you show... but while it doesn't look as cheap as the other products on that site, I would be leery of it for that price, especially the hardware... it can get crappy looking fast.

Do you know much about that company and the product line... because that is a good price.

I like that one I listed because while it is pricey it looks really classy and heavy duty as well.

I have a similar one I got on Ebay last spring. They dont fall apart, but you get what you pay for. It doesnt feel like good leather, but rather cheap stuff. Its strong though.

Yea java, I know what you mean, sometimes the leather lacks a certain feel that quality products have and it makes all the difference.

Some of those products on that site seemed to just not look as good as they might, and you are right, you get what you pay for.

I have one of the Huge bags that is on ebay, The bag is Ginormous, but as was said earlier, you do get what you pay for, all of the metal pieces have cheap chroming and rust quickly and easily. Not a hard fix, but the studs rust too, that is a little more expensive, and I don't have the time or energy to find someone to restud it for me... overall, it is a great piece, and I recommend it, provided that you don't expect more than one or two seasons out of it looking decent.
  • I can fit 2 full face helmets, 2 sets of gloves, 2 sets of chaps and my oem tool bag.
  • Great bag for the price, I got it for $80 from Leatherup.com. Overall, good bag.
