winter upgrades 2 Months, 1 Week ago
well, that time is almost upon us. winter upgrades/improvements. 3 areas i'm concentrating on this winter. 1) better seats (ultimate) 2) better rear shock. have HD springs front/rear & really improved ride quality, but i'm wondering if a shock would help more? also, heavier fork oil. they dive more than i like under hard braking. 3) better front brakes. i heard/read about R6/R1 calipers. better than stock, straight bolt on ? any thoughts/insight would be helpfull

My plans for the winter months is to purchase one of these:

http://www.pantherlifts.com/Panther/index.php?action=item&id=17&prevaction=category&previd=4&prevstart=0

Then, after it arrives to install the Roadhouse Dooleys, a BAK, And ME880 tires. This should have me ready to go for next riding season...

No your typing is fine. You just can't use square brackets in your text or it weirds out the forum software. This software thinks anything in square brackets is a special tag. In your case is was duplicating a portion of your post. So I just replaced the square brackets with parenthesis.

Internal wiring, stainless steel brake lines, and if I'm really really lucky I'll be able to machine the light bar I designed this winter.

Well, if the dice gods smile on me anytime soon I'm going to spring for the dyna3000, dyna coil, and new plug wires over the winter. Need to get some fire into the belly of the beast and this stuck stuff just isn't getting it done.

1. Rake the front 6 degrees
2. Paint. I've got some interesting ideas...
3. Some misc. chrome stuff that I've missed.

Mr.C's universal K&N filter, a 31 tooth front pulley, and a Dyna 3000 are already sitting on the work bench, and I intended to remove the bars, drill some holes, and route the wiring through them.

I'm looking to maybe go the stainless steel cables and hoses route too.

Oh, it's going to be a great winter!
